Chris is a natural born leader and highly skilled manufacturing professional. We worked together on a unique bakery project with a quick turnaround time. Even with this novel product, Chris’s innovative thinking enabled us to maximize output, reign in waste and manufacture the product in a highly efficient manner. Chris is a take charge individual and he is one of the best manufacturing managers that I have ever worked with my career. His extended background in six-sigma and lean techniques were instrumental in successfully implementing several programs in both Onvio and Moveras manufacturing operations, improving product throughput, leading to material and labor savings.

Chris uses the "player-coach" model most effectively to energize his team. He firmly believes in people, product and process development to help grow the business. My lean journey/experience started with Chris's guidance and support, and I appreciate that he keeps things simple when he starts building a lean culture. In 2014 we met on the set of Good Morning America. He is as genuine, honest and caring as they come. He lives by integrity and is a man of his word. He absolutely LOVES making products in America helping entrepreneurs match offshore pricing and knows everything about new product development on the front and back end, and that’s rare. I'm very lucky to have him by my side as a mentor but most importantly as one of my closet friends.

Chris is the consumate professional who has in-depth knowledge of world class manufacturing and more importantly know how to implement and sustain it. He has natural leadership skills that enable him to be a demanding manager and at the same time build solid relationships with employees at every level. It is really a rare thing in business to take part in an event which, by its very design and nature, was created to give the small entrepreneur a chance for fame, fortune, and glory. The Pitch the Pros event, recently held in Greenville, South Carolina provided a unique and welcoming product presentation platform; while simultaneously providing a fantastic opportunity to create meaningful, potentially long term, profitable, professional connections.

Promoting our product and business ideas to these professionals, event attendees, the large media presence, and like-minded entrepreneurs was truly a dream come true. We got to do it all, while having the freedom to, shout from the rafters (or in this case, the stage at PKL Park) telling the world about our innovative product the “CADDIE” and what it is all about.

We believe that MODERN-INVENTOR’s Chris Guerrera and Brandi Lombardo have put together something truly special. When a planned event becomes a lifetime experience for its attendees, as it did for us, then you know something unique is happening in Greenville, South Carolina. This year’s event show-cased, passion, commitment, striving for excellence, having fun, creative thinking, and the will to overcome all obstacles and win.

Attending Pitch The Pros was an incredible experience from start to finish. Huge thank you to Chris, Brandi, and the entire Modern Inventor team for putting something like this together. What stood out most was the quality of the connections. Being surrounded by other inventors & entrepreneurs who are actively building was powerful, the industry leaders had amazing insights to share, and the relationships made were real, not surface level.

It also meant a lot that the event was family friendly. Being able to have my whole family there made the experience even more special, and that’s something you don’t see often.

I left feeling inspired, connected, and with a clearer vision moving forward. This is something every inventor should experience.
